Bosso threw everything at Harare City F.C, but the Glamour Boys gave much back to give a goalless draw in a Premier Soccer League game played yesterday at Barbourfields Stadium.
Harare City dominated the game and right from the kick off, they were comfortable on the ball as they passed it around in slow build ups with burst of attacks.
However Highlanders also got a couple of chances with Tambwe Kalunga hitting the side netting on the 8th minute and Brian Banda’s speculative effort on the 14th minute heading the cross bar, but in overall the Bulawayo giants struggled and coach Erol Akbay’s changes did not make much of a difference .
“Harare City had more chances than us, as we gave them lots of space and the second ball belonged to them. I’m not happy at all with our performance because we made so many mistakes. This poor performance is unacceptable. Sometimes l don’t understand these players; we have short strikers yet they keep on playing high balls. My focus is now on the next game in which l hope we will go with better attack”, said Akbay.
“There were so many wrong decisions and too many mistakes and that is not acceptable. Only three guys worked hard and the others were doing nothing,” he continued.
